"Taste and See that the Lord is good"

God’s Unconditional Love !!!

God doesn’t have love, God is love. The Bible states in Romans 5:5, “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” An unsaved person cannot understand the Love of God, for how can they comprehend what they do not possess? An unsaved person does NOT have the Holy Spirit of God indwelling their body… “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1st Corinthians 3:16). “…Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His” (Romans 8:9). The Love of God is something that only a genuine born-again Christ believer can posses, understand, and express. Greater Love

God’s Love is unconditional, i.e., it is not dependent upon anything we say or do. Romans 5:8 states, “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” God, knowing exactly how sinful and undeserving we are, was still willing to send His only begotten Son into the world to die for our sins. This is the Love of God. Jesus Christ paid our sin debt, asking nothing in return. Salvation is a “free gift” (Romans 5:15; 6:23). Thus, the gift of Eternal life cannot be meriting, earned or obtained by self-righteousness.

The world’s love is conditional. There is NO such teaching in the Word of God. We read in 1st Corinthians 13:8, “Charity never faileth…” The word “charity” in this Scripture comes from the Greek word agape and means “love.” God’s Love never fails. This is why we read in Hebrews 13:5, “…for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” What a precious Savior! Scriptures that Teach God’s Unconditional Love John 3:16 proclaims, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The Bible plainly teaches that God loves the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son to redeem us from the curse of sin. Jesus Christ died for ALL men. 1st John 2:2, “And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” Anyone who says that Jesus didn’t die for all mankind is a liar. We are taught in Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” 1st John 3:16 further states, “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”

God is love

God’s Everlasting Love

What then shall we say to these things?

If God is for us, who can be against us?

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We are all unconditionally loved by God and the objects of His dear love, because we are all sinful and deserving of hellfire, since God loves us. You are always awesome Lord, My God!!!

Thankfully, God doesn’t love us for who we are; but because of WHO HE IS. Likewise, we shouldn’t love people because of who they are; but because of WHO WE ARE.
